The BME Durango Purgatory event will take place on August 28th and 29th in the majestic San Juan Mountains of Colorado. Racers can expect two big days of racing, including some backcountry stages. Official practice will take place on Thursday and Friday, with racing action on Saturday and Sunday. The Purgatory Bike Park features quality downhill terrain at Purgatory Resort near Durango, Colorado and is an established pathway to over 400 miles of high alpine singletrack for hard core mountain bike enthusiasts. Durango is a bucket list destination and an event that you don’t want to miss.

Located just 25 miles north of Durango and surrounded by the majestic San Juan Mountains, Purgatory Resort is the destination for an authentic Colorado mountain experience. The Village Plaza base area features a vibrant assemblage of family friendly activities, lodging, retail shops, restaurants and bars. Throughout the summer, Purgatory provides hiking and lift-served mountain biking, plus over a dozen family friendly activities, including the area’s only Inferno Mountain Coaster and alpine slide.

Although the Yeti Gathering was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID concerns - we are optimistic and looking forward to 2021’s Yeti Gathering!!

Big Mountain Enduro in Santa Fe is CANCELLED as the event will be moving to Purgatory, CO.

For Round 2 of the 2021 Big Mountain Enduro series is bringing premier enduro racing to… New Mexico! We will be in attendance as a vendor to share our mission with everyone attending the event - if you are planning on attending the race, come stop by our tent!\

The Big Mountain Enduro Santa Fe, NM stop kicks off on May 29th-30th with a two-day backcountry race entailing upwards of 7’000 feet of long rocky descents throughout the weekend. Racers can expect 3 stages per day on some of the most unique and raw terrain in New Mexico. Over the years, this event has become a favorite amongst all racers due to the creative trail building and widespread trail infrastructure in and around the Glorieta Camps property.

Amongst this venue, BME will offer its standard world-class Enduro racing with an added weekend demo festival taking place at Glorieta Camps. Official practice will start on Thursday and course maps will be released on Wednesday evening. Expect fun and entertainment all weekend long for the entire family to enjoy, along with the great trails and good vibes that BME events have become known for. On-site camping and lodging is also available for athletes and industry sponsors.

Jagged Axe is the creative trail builder behind the Ironton, MO and Santa Fe (Glorieta), NM Big Mountain Enduro venues. Purpose built and rider crafted mountain bike trails for all ability levels, always working towards bringing you the best quality trails possible.

Although we were extremely excited to attend Yeti Tribe this year, the event has been cancelled due to COVID-19. We completely understand that safety trumps everything, and we are looking forward to the Tribe 2021!
